Amanda is a Marketing Coordinator/Corporate Video Producer at her daytime job in the Tampa Bay area. Her other creative passion is being Beauty Blogger on her free time. A USF graduate, she is exploring other talents, passions and opportunities and we are seeing this trend on the rise among young adults. They are exploring art and entrepreneaurship in many different ways with more time on their hands due to mandatory Covid-19 quarantine orders, .
A casual scroll through Etsy, Instagram or Youtube will afford you the pleasure of purchasing handmade products or show you how these young people create, paint, produce or use their talents. They make it look seamless, easy and as if they have been doing it for decades. The amount of online talent and creativity is unlike anything we’ve experienced in the last 5 years.
For Amanda, beauty products of every kind have always intrigued her. However, making a living in the beauty industry was no easy task in South Florida and seemed to be a more attainable type of career in other places like NYC or Hollywood where fashion, modeling and movie production is literally birthed. As technology continues to emerge making it easier for entrepreneurs and creatives to work from home so is the ability to safely try branching out into other passions.
Tampa has become a hotspot for many seeking to live in warmer weather and closer proximity to gorgeous beaches. The city has transformed into a diverse and hip place for younger generations to grow roots. They are finding opportunities to make the All-American dream come true. This also opens up doors for native Floridians to join in on the action of discovering new talents, expressing creativity and perhaps finally daring to step into long lost dreams.
They sky is literally the limit now for many. It’s an incredible time to be living with so much opportunity and the ability to hone in on talent and creativity. We look forward to experiencing new ideas which benefits us all in one way or another. Whether it’s in beauty products, technological advances, industrial, political, medical or environmental areas, I say let this next generation thrive on what they were born to do. They are world changers and naturally suited to be innovators.
