Riverview FL HS Senior Photographer - Laura Ocampo {Riverview High School }

Laura Ocampo is a current student at Riverview High School and is active in Sophmore steering and in the Spanish Honor Society.  As a matter of fact, she is the current Belleza Latina Pageant Winner!   Laura is also a model and has graced the run way and photo studios quite a bit in these last months.  When asked what her plans are for her future, Laura says she wants to major in International studies either here in the U.S. or abroad in Europe.   As a HS senior photographer, I find it a great joy to work with ladies like Laura who is not only beautiful but very smart, kind, and most of all faithful to her Christian belief. The photo session experience is nothing like you've ever encountered before at local chain studios. Laura can attest to how much fun we had during our session getting hair and make up done and changing outfits. In the woodsy location we shot at, we braved ant attacks, weeds with spurs, and sunny but chilly temperatures that day.  Make sure to scroll all the way to the end to read some of the conversation between Laura and I after her shoot.

JRP:       How was your experience during your senior shoot?

Laura:  I was very comfortable compared to other shoots I have done with other photographers. It was definitely much more relaxed and fun.

JRP:         What’s one piece of advice you’d give to anyone getting their senior photos taken?

Laura:   They have to have fun with it and be relaxed. They can’t force themselves to pretend to like it.

 JRP:      How many outfits did you take?

Laura:  I took 2 outfits but with one skirt and we I shot with 2 different blouses.

 JRP:Would you have taken more or less, reasons why?

LAURA:  I think having 2 or 3 outfits gives enough variety.

JRP:        Any tips on how to prepare for the session?

 Laura:   Have clear nail polish or nude, bring undergarments that don’t show any marks.

Jrp:Did you find a store that had everything you were looking for?

Laura:  I got my dress, skirt, and light pink blouse from forever 21. The jean shirt was from bealls.

JRP:       What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about prior to your session and what was the outcome?

Laura:  The photographer made me feel at ease and told me exactly what I needed to do to get into the poses.

JRP:       What did you think about the locations you used for your session?

Laura:  The place I went was really good it gave an enchanting feeling like I was in a fairy tale story.
