To The Christian High School Senior - Tampa Florida

Here it is November, 4 months into your senior year and things are starting to get real. All the fun activities are coming and going by so quickly. Football games, pep rallies and homecoming are all the things that make senior year so epic.

As you start to evaluate where life has you now, you will begin to notice that friendships are changing, your thinking and mindset are maturing. You might even start wondering who you are and how you fit into this world. As a christian in high school, it is a perfect time to really solidify your relationship with the Lord.

What kind of questions, thoughts or concerns are you facing that older and more seasoned believers can help you with? Do you have a mentor that can help you with these feelings? If not, feel free to leave me a message and I will do my best to respond.

To the Christian guy in high school…

It’s ok to not be the most popular. The closer you get to Him the smaller your circle of friends becomes. It can seem lonely sometimes and you may question why?

Darling, you’ve been set apart and on a road that not many others can walk through.  He will send you your people as you continue to walk in obedience. Keep going.

To the Christian high school senior…

The fear of what is next is starting to settle in. It is scary. It is hard to know for sure which path to choose.

But did you know that it’s not meant for us to know what to do all the time?  Nope.  Fear and worry just leads us to feel anxious and opens the door for panic to consume us.

So instead, go to a quiet place and ask the Lord what is next for you?  He will be faithful to tell you. Just sit in that quiet place and listen. Whether it’s through a small still voice in your heart or mind or through His word, He will guide you. That my friend is where you will find answers and feel the most peace about your next step.

To the Christian Young Adult.

Sometimes life feels hard. Situations seem impossible. Goals are hard to meet. Maybe I don’t have what it takes. Maybe I’m not that smart.

My friend, don’t you know that when you have Him you can do all things? It’s not meant for us to do things in our own strength or to figure out how to do it by ourselves. That’s why it seems so hard.

When you’re in the thick of it just whisper to yourself what we’re told in Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

To the Christian Person.

Knowing how much you are loved by your Father in Heaven fills the need to be accepted by others.

Knowing that you were wonderfully made gives you the confidence in who you are.

Knowing that He will never leave you or forsake you will bring you peace through the storm.

Knowing your identity in Him makes you strong, makes you whole and keeps you from making a mess of your life.
