According to the contest rules, the winner gained full access to bragging rights for “The Most Beautiful Girl” and here she is looking fabulous! I took the opportunity to chat with Alandra after her session to get to know a little bit more about her and to find out what was going through her mind during this whole process.
Janet Ramos Photography: Why did you enter the contest?
Alandra Sochor: Because I recently have been wanting pictures taken, and also I really enjoy photography and wanted to see how it all works up close and personal !
Janet Ramos Photography: Did you think that you had a chance to win?
Alandra Sochor: Honestly I had no idea but once the votes starting pouring in, I started to get more confident.
Getting to know my clients and making them feel comfortable in front of the camera is vital in photography because for me, being comfortable and being yourself is how I want to capture the real you. Stepping in front of a camera is intimidating and it takes a while to warm up and when you do, these are the kind of images than can be created.
Janet Ramos Photography: How did it feel being in front of the camera and what do you think of your completed images?
Alandra Sochor: At first I had no idea what facial expressions to make but then I started to get more comfortable and just let loose. So far I LOVE the completed images!
Janet Ramos Photography: What are some of your hobbies?
Alandra Sochor: I love to listen to music, to dance, to search the web, to play the guitar, to take pictures of things that catch my eye or I get an idea about,to hang out with friends and plenty more.
Janet Ramos Photography: Do you think that any one of your hobbies could possibly lead you to having a succesful career?
Alandra Sochor: Yes, if it isn’t something having to do with performing arts I think I will try and incorporate a career with photography.
Janet Ramos Photography: How old are you?
Alandra Sochor: Just turned 16 (:
Janet Ramos Photography: What are your plans after high school?
Alandra Sochor: To raise my g.p.a in order to get into a good college.
Janet Ramos Photography: If you had a chance to do or be anything in the world, what would it be?
Alandra Sochor: If I could DO anything in the world, it would be to put a smile on peoples faces by showing a talent I have, which I am still trying to work on first. If I could BE anyone in the world, I would be a great mother, wife, family member, friend, and overall person when I am older.
Janet Ramos Photography: What was your photoshoot experience like?
Alandra Sochor: I loved it !
Janet Ramos Photography: Would you consider doing another photoshoot in the future?
Alandra Sochor: Of course, I am planning on doing many more!
Janet Ramos Photography: Thanks for participating and for sharing your time with me!
Alandra Sochor: Thank you and I had a lot of fun!
